Officer Sanchez grew up in the Chicago land area before making the move to IMPD. He joined The Marine Corps Reserves at the age of 19 years old. In 2016 he joined IMPD as part of the 13th Recruit Class. He began his IMPD career working Northwest District middle shift before moving on to serve in a variety of roles in the department including being a part of the Major Felony Investigations Division. Officer Sanchez currently holds the roles of Recruiter, Event Response Group, and a Crisis Negotiator. Officer Sanchez
enjoys his free time with his family, playing soccer with his friends, and traveling.
