Sergeant Randy Diaz was born and raised in the Bronx, New York City. As the son of immigrants, he felt a deep desire to give back to his community. After graduating from high school, he served in the United States Navy for four years. In 2010, he joined the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) to continue his dedication to public service. During his time with IMPD, Sergeant Diaz has worked as a Patrol Officer, Robbery Detective, and currently serves as the Sergeant of the Recruiting Unit. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and reading.
